This training includes a combination of people skills, social skills, and communication skills such as: Developing a Strong Work Ethic, Positive Attitude, Good Communication Skills, Time Management Abilities, and Critical Thinking Skills. Empowering The Masses Mission is to provide basic needs, educational services and resources. It is our vision to help individuals gain self worth and financial independence. We strive for them to become self sufficient to improve their quality of life and the life within their community. 2024 DECREASE IN NET ASSETS EXPLANATION The organization s decrease in net assets during the tax year was due to monthly expenses exceeding contributions received. This spending was supported by cash reserves accumulated in the prior year. After conducting an internal mock audit, the organization identified opportunities to improve financial oversight and is taking active steps to monitor cash flow more closely. Plans are in place to transition from a cash to an accrual-based accounting system to ensure more accurate financial tracking and sustainability moving forward. PART VI, SECTION B, LINE 15a The Executive Director???s compensation is reviewed annually by independent board members using comparable nonprofit salary data. The decision is discussed, approved, and documented in the meeting minutes to ensure fairness and transparency.
