The Pennsylvania Society is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and teaching American history to future generations. The President is an unpaid position elected by the Board of Management and delegates at the annual meeting. The Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar and Newsletter Editor are paid positions elected at the annual meeting by the Board of Management and delegates. Meeting minutes are kept and the elections are documented in the minutes. The Society includes its financial statements and its Form 990 in its member meeting booklets. The financial statements are published in the quarterly meeting booklets. The financial statements and the Form 990 are made available to the members of the Society and the public upon written request. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Net Assets were reduced by $2,419 to allocate Life Member Dues Paid in Advance to a liability account. The Society was granted a six month extension for filing the Form 990 on Notice number CP211A dated September 30, 2024.
