This program explores the development of a general platform to discover probes that target specific domains within a neurological protein. Using cyclophilin 40 (Cyp40), FK506-binding proteins FKBP51 and FKBP52, our team seeks to define critically needed reagents to understand the role of the `large immunophilin' family in neurological disease.
