Organized tournaments were located in both the San Francisco Bay area where travel expenses are minimal, as well as non-local and out-of-state tournaments, where travel included higher expenses such as flights and hotel rooms. The effort and hours required during this fiscal year to expand the program for non-club team activities (ie development programs for the younger age groups) along with expanding the program to include boys resulted in an increase in revenue over previous years. These programs allowed additional participants to learn and enjoy the game and laid a foundation for future youth related activities. This compensation is consistent with similar roles in the business world based on the expanded organization size.
