The collections include carved fiddles carved animals and toys pictures paintings and memorabilia of the rich history when the region and town of Leslie Arkansas was the whiskey barrel making "capital of the world" in the early part of the 20th century due to the large supply of white oak logs in area. The museum and art gallery collections allow patrons to visualize and learn about the industries and simple entertainment every day life events that sustained the region and peoples in the early 20th century. Part VIII Line 1 | Explanation:| The organization received an unusual bequest in the amount of $831,550 during year 2023 from a decedent's trust. The bequest meets the definition of unusual as outlined by IRS Treasury because 1 the amount is significantly higher than the average public support received from individual or a government entity 2the decedent was attracted to make the bequest because of the publicly supported nature of the Ozark Heritage Arts Center and 3 the size of the bequest would adversely affect the status of the organization as normally supported by the public. The decedent did not directly or indirectly exercise any control over the Ozark Heritage Arts Center. The $831,550 is not included as public support nor as total support for Schedule A Part II included with this tax return.
