Monthly events held on the first Friday of every month. We have 20 active volunteers and average 5-10 volunteers per event for approximately 2 hours. The average count of special needs adults participating were 60. Program began Jan 1, 2023 with 17 special needs adults, 3 full time employees and 1 full time volunteer. We added an additional full time employee in Sep 2023. There are now 19 special needs adults participating in the program as of 12/31/2023. In addition to the 1 full time volunteer we had 4 other regular volunteers during 2023. Once both the audit and Form 990 is completed, a copy of the 990 is emailed to all board members for them to review. Any questions are discussed at the subsequent board meeting with the Treasurer. Once questions have been answered, each board member completes and signs an attestation form documenting their review is completed and all questions have been answered. The attestation forms are reviewed by the independent accountant for completeness. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c A disclosure form is completed and signed by each board member at the annual review of the Form 990. Any disclosed conflicts are discussed by the group to determine if any business transactions are affected. Board members are reminded to update the board at any time during the year if they have transacted any business that may question their independence. The disclosure forms are also reviewed by the independent accountant. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Currently, there's no intent to pay board members. Compensation for an Executive Director has been discussed with research done of Exec Directors in the Permian Basin Area through phone calls and consultation with the NonProfit Management Center. In 2023, the only compensation is for the instructors at Friendship House which are not management level positions and therefore have no input into management decisions.
