The purposes of this organization are: publicly represent and interpret psychology as a profession and as a science; Utilize psychological techniques and principles to improve community welfare; Protect the public by encouraging the highest standards of ethics and professional practices, and enhance the professional development of psychology graduate students through exposure to PSCP, networking events, and mentorship programs. PSCP provided approximately 20 continuing education events for psychologists and other licensed mental health professionals. We provided free or low-cost psychotherapy services to individuals with financial needs. We provide information to mental health professionals as well as the general public about the profession of psychology and the field of mental health through social media and online newsletters.
