During this review, they also determined that the finances were not handled properly by the previous accounting firm as there was no transparency. The prior firm claimed they had filed extensions along with 990s and it was determined this had not occurred. The new firm has had to spend an abundance of time gathering financial documentation to accurately complete the 990.
