This funding is aimed at enhancing the educational resources available to the community, providing essential skills and knowledge to adult learners in our community. Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 With the City of Seattle grant, the Oromo Cultural Center purchased ten computers, a printer, and four computer lab tables. The grant also covered expenses for painting the new computer lab room and paid for adult computer instructor/trainer hours for six months. Additionally, the funds were used to develop an adult computer training curriculum. Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 Electricity and utility bill The Oromo Cultural Center requested an extension for filing late due to unforeseen and severe medical conditions affecting critical members of our organization. Specifically, the President and his children were struck by significant medical conditions, two directors experienced kidney failures, and one director faced severe issues related to uncontrolled diabetes. These medical emergencies significantly impaired the ability of these individuals to perform their duties and meet the filing deadlines. We respectfully request that the penalties for late filing be waived due to these extraordinary circumstances that were beyond our control.
