See explanation at Line 4d. true Tuition Assistance 12 47950 0 % of Tuition N/A Pt I Line 2 Tree of Life Scholarship - The Tree of Life (TOF) Committee (composed of two Board Members) establishes an annual budget for awarding tuition grants based on need to qualifying families. Parents complete an application for financial assistance and provide verification of income to the Head of School. The Head of School makes a recommendation for approval or denial of assistance to the Tree of Life Committee, who makes the final decision whether to award aid based on the current budget, written TOL guidelines, and evaluation of the application. Records of awards and their distribution are kept by the Head of School. Awards are given directly to the school on behalf of the student from the TOL bank account. The Ace Scholarship - ACE Foundation provides needs-based tuition assistance for students in grades K-12 enrolling at private school. Applicants apply online, giving verification of income and other relevant financial data. Recipients are selected based on evaluation of need and the availability of funds. Each award is in the amount of $2000 per student per year. Pt VI, Line 11b The 990 is prepared by a CPA, and upon completion, is sent to the Board together with the internally prepared financials for their review. The Board will address any questions with the preparer in order to better understand the reports and suggest changes as needed. Once any changes have been made and approved, the 990 will be filed. Once the 990 has been accepted, a final copy is sent to the Board. Pt VI, Line 15a A subcommittee of the Board annually determines and approves the Head of School's compensation package.
