UVHBA members and board maintain close working relationships with supported organizations. Part IV, Section E, Line 2a - Explanation of Supported Organizations The organization's activities include the building of a home with the sales proceeds to directly provide scholarship funds to construction management students at both Brigham Young University (BYU) and Utah Valley University (UVU). Funds provided to BYU and UVU in the past have established scholarship endowments whose investment earnings continue to provide scholarships at those institutions. Part IV, Section E, Line 2b - Explanation of Organization's Postion The construction of a home that is showcased in the UVHBA's Parade of Homes is sold with the profits from the sale being used to fund scholarships. Because of the generosity of UVHBA members who donate their time and/or construction materials, the past sales of these homes has resulted in endowed scholarship funds at BYU and UVU of over $1.5 million.
