Launch began the school year with 64 students attending Monday thru Thursday with a morning and afternoon session. Students are schooled in letter recognition, phonemic sounds, reading readiness skills, writing, formal sentence structure, rhyming, number awareness, counting, money recognition, telling time, shapes recognition of colors, site works recognition, geometric shapes, basic math symbols, geography, and many life skills. Launch tests at the beginning and end of each school year to measure growth gains. Remediation is available for those students needing additional assistance. Students enter public schools with the necessary skills to succeed at their appropriate grade level.
