Our program encourages personal growth and development with a core passion for the game of volleyball. 0 0 193213 254449 Club teams - Rainier Volleyball Club (RVC) has shown consistent growth since it's start in 2017. Beginning with three (3) teams its first season, the primary club team program supported 10 teams and 125 athletes in the 2022-2023 season. The program is now able to put forward multiple teams in an age division to accommodate a variety of skill levels, providing more opportunities for young players to learn and grow through the experiences encountered in competition and team sports. Geographically the program has expanded from servicing a relatively small area, primarily three (3) school districts in Buckley, Enumclaw, and Bonney Lake, to a much larger area that includes at 11 school districts across a much larger geographic footprint. Through fundraising, sponsorships, and donations, RVC is able to offer scholarships and discounts to approximately 20% of participants in the club team program. 3165 7475 Camps and Clinics - In previous years RVC was limited in its resources to provide additional training opportunities. Over the course of the 2022-2023 season resources (coaches and facilities) were obtained that allowed expansion of these types of programs. Several open gyms were available over the summer months to prepare high school age athletes for their upcoming school seasons. Geared toward younger athletes, camps were also offered over the summer months. These were separated by age, with one session being for very young athletes, and a second being for middle school ages. Multiple clinics were offered in the fall to provide elementary and middle school athletes an opportunity to prepare for upcoming club team tryouts.
