Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Data for 5 local non profits in a similar financial standing to Square Peg as well as data for 5 similar executive director positions for similar programs as Square Peg nationwide were assembled and discussed by the board in order to asses the compensation package for the Executive director. Note: Joell Dunlap and Darius Dunlap were recused from voting on this compensation package. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Square Peg's entire financial history is open for inspection at our Sonoma location including policies related to whistleblowers, equity statement, euthanasia policies (for animals), 990 filings, Profit and Loss data etc. In addition, Square Peg maintains accredidation with the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance where all of the financial data and policies are updated on on file in their central office in Kentucky. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 Scholarships awarded to underprivileged families an extension was filed and accepted by the IRS. Square Peg moved one of it's 2 locations this spring due to storm damage from the California storms in 2023 - some of our office infastructure was damaged and needed to be re-structured - hence the request for an extension.
