Additionally, Mission Plasticos to donated critically needed supplies and equipment to the under-resourced surgery center. 26507 Cordoba, Argentina - We conducted our fourth mission to Argentina with a team of seven medical volunteers from the US, the Netherlands and Argentina. This was our first mission to the city of Cordoba, where the team performed advanced reconstructive surgical procedures and training at Nuevo Hospital San Roque, a public state hospital, with some services lead by professors at the National University of Cordoba. During patient procedures, Argentine medical staff, fellows, and residents present in the operating rooms were trained. The operating room was also equipped with a live interactive feed so that 75 medical professionals could attend and interact with the surgeons during the surgeries. In addition, more than 160 medical professionals registered and received advanced surgical training during the online transmission of these advanced breast reconstructive surgical procedures.
