Grant candidates are further reviewed by CHRISCROSS management for eligibility and fit with our mission. Candidates are also occasionally reviewed by the Foundation's Advisory Board. Grants to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention are made with input from management and our advisory board based in part on fundraising success during the year. Grant sizes vary but generally are matched by an equal or greater reduction in the cost of service by our program partners effectively doubling the financial benefit to candidates.
