Part III-Statement of Program Service Accomplishments-Oregon Business Alliance for Climate is Oregons only statewide business organization focused on addressing climate change. Accomplishements in the last year include:Organized businesses to join in supporting passage of several critical bills, new programs, and strong agency budgets to continue climate progress and to maximize Oregons success with recent federal funding. Projects included:Business sign-on letters to legislators to support key policies.Hosting opportunities for business leaders to meet with key policy makers.Testified in committee meetings and met with legislators to bring the pro-climate business voice to support key policies.Supported Oregons Climate Protection Plan in commission hearing and other venues.Partnered to deliver multiple cohorts of a program to help businesses address their own emissions-the Breaking Barriers Collaborative, in collaboration with other leading NW business, climate and justice groups.Kicked off our business preparation for the 2024 legislative session, providing a preview and legislator input covering the major climate policies expected in the session.
