Seattle Design Festival delivered a festival in August 2023 which included a Block Party with 37 built installations and 28 pop-up experiences, as well as a Virtual mainstage which included 7 programs. 10,660 people attended the Festival. 348 designers participated in the Festival, and more than 20 design disciplines were represented. Seattle Design festival included six mixers which brought together multidisciplinary designs and members of the SDF community. SDF partnered with three nonprofit entities to deliver mixers (1) Gates Foundation Discover Center (2) Pratt Fine Arts Center and (3) Seattle Architecture Foundation. Additional mixers included two pre-festival gatherings for multidisciplinary conversation and connection and a closing celebration to bring all of the Festival participants together in community.
