The Food and Part III, line 4a and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Institutes of Health Part III, line 4a (NIH) recognize that increased application of computational Part III, line 4a modeling, often referred to as Model-Informed Drug Development Part III, line 4a or Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, will be an important factor Part III, line 4a leading to smarter drug development processes and better decision Part III, line 4a making. The NIH even issued a White Paper in 2011 naming Part III, line 4a establishment of research and teaching programs in quantitative Part III, line 4a systems pharmacology as a national high priority. The FDA, under Part III, line 4a the 2017 FDA Reauthorization Act, has committed to adopting Part III, line 4a Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) in regulatory consideration Part III, line 4a of applications for new drugs and generic drugs.
