Empowering Haiti, Inc receives many small donations from the general public including students, teachers, nurses, doctors, business employees, etc. who are all dedicated to improving the lives of Haitians who live in extreme poverty. Until Covid-19 and the current political situation in Haiti itself, Empowering Haiti, Inc. allowed and encouraged all interested persons to travel on one of our mission trips to experience first-hand the situation in rural Haiti regarding healthcare, daily nutrition, education, etc. to come back to the U.S. and tell others about the needs and challenges of the Haitian people. Empowering Haiti, Inc. encourages word of mouth advertising to others, has a website www.empoweringhaiti.org telling about our mission work and how to help. In addition, members in church groups in the Wichita area donate regularly. Members of Empowering Haiti, Inc. have spoken often to various groups about the needs and progress of our mission work in Haiti. Our governing body has members from various occupations and backgrounds including teachers, students, nurses, physicians, city management, accounting, etc. and all interested people are encouraged to become involved. None of us receive any compensation for being a part of Empowering Haiti, Inc. and all donations go 100% toward our mission work in Haiti.
