The paperwork is reviewed and checked for errors and compliance. Additionally, we conduct reviews a minimum of 3 times a year for compliance with the program and to ensure meal service operations are conducted to standard. Non compliance and errors are corrected, funding returned to the program as appropriate, and comments recorded for future reviews. When required a repeat noncompliant center is terminated from the program. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The form 990 was completed by our Executive Director and was reviewed by the Treasurer and President for completeness and accuracy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c At each Board Meeting, we ask each Board Member to confirm they have no existing or past undisclosed conflict of interest. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Only Key Employee that receives compensation is the Executive Director. As an Independent Contractor he is paid for his services related to program services. His payment rate is reviewed and approved by the Board and incorporated in the written Compensation & Payroll Policy. The rate was last reviewed in 2023. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Our governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements were available to the public upon request. However, we had no requests to provide these documents during the tax year. Form 990, Part XI, Line 9 An accounting adjustment of $2 is required to account for the rounding of information provided in this report. Form 990, Part XII, Line 3b The organization has not undergone the required audit as of the date of Form 990 submission. This is our first year of a required audit. We are in discussions with accounting firms to conduct the audit.
