Our program Why ME? recognizes the unique needs and experiences of mothers grieving the loss of a child and youth who have lost a parent or a sibling. Our program is structured to provide a holistic approach to grief support, encompassing various elements that cater to the emotional, psychological, and social needs of participants. Our program includes psychoeducational workshops and seminars that focus on understanding grief, managing emotions, enhancing resilience, and promoting self-care. These educational sessions equip participants with knowledge and skills to navigate their grief journey more effectively. We engage with the community through outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with local organizations to raise awareness about grief, mental health, and the importance of supportive resources for individuals and families facing loss. Central to our program is a strong focus on mental health, recognizing that grief can significantly impact one's emotional well-being and psychological resilience. We collaborate with mental health professionals, psychiatrists, and counselors to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, screenings, and interventions as needed.
