The volunteer-elected board sets the Organizations policies and procedures, oversees and updates the Organizations bylaws, and establishes a code of ethics. The operations of the organization are executed by the Executive Director and others who work for a company that is under written contract with outlined duties and responsibilities. The Organizations bylaws also provide for the hiring of an Executive Director to be hired by the board, who also serves as an ex-officio board member. The categories of membership are members who affiliate through a chapter and members-at-large. Members can be either Organizational or individual members.
