We connect pregnant, birthing, and postpartum individuals, their families, and larger communities with educational, emotional, and physical support through all pregnancy & postpartum outcomes. We conduct workshops and trainings to share knowledge, promote advocacy, build resources & expand the number of trained/competent/& culturally relevant doulas. As a collective we strive to bring our diverse skills, ancestral practices, and unique experiences to the people and communities that we support. 0 0 255014 Doula Trainings: Our doula trainings strive to increase the diversity of the doula workforce and are aligned with the research that shows when people feel reflected in their support their positive health experiences can increase. We train new and experienced doulas to serve their respective communities, to advocate, and to be equipped with the skills, knowledge, resources, and network to provide trauma informated support to their clients. Doulas are well documented to be an asset to decreasing the perinatal andinfant health disparities for communities of Color and we are dedicated to increasing the number of doulas in every neighborhood! Workshops & Community education: Our collective is made up of a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, of professions, of experts, and of people with various lived experiences/traditions/and knowledge that are beneficial to share with the broader communities. Our workshops and education are rooted in advocacy, in cultural relevance, and in increasing positive health experiences while feeling empowered and supported. Our workshops and education range from reproductive justice, to informed consent, lactation support, childbirtheducation, indigenous practices, advocacy, and more. It is important that are offerings are inclusive, intentional, and accessible to the communities they are happening in. Doula Services: We provide culturally relevant, inclusive, and full spectrum doula services, supporting all pregnancy and postpartum outcomes. We center the most marginalized communities including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals and families by providing doula support and care that is accessible and advocacy rooted. We believe doulas should be compensated for their labor and that this work should create sustainability for doulas while still being accessibleto those who have a need but can't afford it.
