Over the last decade, since the inception of Padres Pedal the Cause, the Immunotherapy Foundation, and now Curebound, we have funded over 110 research grants that explore 87 adult cancer projects, 28 pediatric cancer projects, and 6 pioneering clinical trials, totaling over 34.5 million dollars invested. The uniqueness of our funding model is further validated by the social impact multiplier demonstrated by our grant recipients receiving 13 dollars in additional funding for every 1 dollar invested by Curebound. This ecosystem positions San Diego and Curebound at the forefront of discovery bringing genomic medicine, new technologies and clinical trials to market and presents an unprecedented opportunity for research collaboration.
