This requested name correction was approved by IRS in Letter dated May 19, 2022 (Ref 0438900001, LTR 2645C K0). Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 This includes program expenses related to: hosting Annual Air Conference, hosting Annual Waste Conference and hosting (when possible) monthly environmental breakfast meetings/webinars, as well as holding other professional events, and Section meetings, including travel and related non-professional administrative expenses. Expenses paid for professional services associated with administrative support is included in Line 13. We are a not-for-profit organization with volunteer members. As Treasurer with the responsibility to file the 990-EZ, I was not able to submit the 990-EZ filing nor the extension form 8868 by the May 15 deadline because of a death in the family and inability to find time for the tasks during late April and May. The 990-EZ filing is being submitted as soon as possible and is only 2 weeks late. I respectfully request IRS to not charge the organization any late filing penalties. Thank you.
