The awards and reimbursements were subject to various compliance and financial audits by the funding source. Form 990, Part III, line 3 In February 2018, the School was notified by SUNY Charter School Institute, the School's authorizer, that its charter would not be renewed, its educational program would cease at the end of the 2017-2018 school year (June 30, 2018), and that the education corporation would need to be dissolved. Accordingly, the charter school program was terminated as of said date, and the School immediately began to implement SUNY Charter School Institute mandated closing procedures. The remaining net assets have not yet been fully liquidated.
