Seth Brown gave welcome, did introductions, and updates on LCCY: FY 23 will end June 30 and FY 24 will start July 1, 2023. Seth discussed the current and upcoming budget for LCCY for FY 23 and FY 24. The Family Resource Center is providing ongoing services to help parents and families. Seth has been looking for other funding streams to fund the programs. Seth has also been working on funding streams to secure funding to sustain the current program. Safe Kids Lowndes is still being implemented and continues to provide car seats in the community. WIC Cohort grant is still being implemented at various sites in the community. Chelsea Williams and Rickita Williams gave a presentation on all services provided in the hub resource Center. Those included Parents as Teachers, First Steps, Group Connections, Family Resource Center, Safe Kids Lowndes, WIC matters, Ferst Readers, and 2Gen Healthy Learning Innovation. Floor was opened for resource sharing. Seth asked everyone to email upcoming events so they could be forward out. Next Meeting date August 15, 2023 Meeting adjourned at 11:02 am.
