(EFKY) is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, net income from certain activities not directly related to the tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Management believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken,and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements, including any net income from activities that could be subject to taxation as unrelated business income. Therefore, no provision for income taxes has been made in the financial statements. EFKY has been classified as a public charity under the applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code. Charitable contributions made to EFKY qualify for the charitable contribution deduction.
