In 2023, 32,000 copies were printed, 22,000 of which were bundled with TravelIN Magazine. The remaining copies were distributed through individual Indiana Artisans and both Indiana Artisan stores. 56755 62229 The Indiana Artisan Marketplace is an annual tradeshow of the Artisans' work. It is one way this organization helps the Artisans expand their businesses - by helping them sell at wholesale to retailers and at retail to the public. The Marketplace attracted 3,959 guests in 2023. 85 artisans hosted booths. 97737 65555 The Indiana Artisan French Lick Resort Store is a 378 square-foot retail space inside the French Lick Resort Hotel. The store is staffed by four part-time employees, and, though small, carries the work of 60 per cent of the artisans, some of whom are not in the Carmel store, though most are. Like Carmel, it provides an opportunity for Artisans to have a retail outlet they don't have to manage. Like Carmel, Artisans receive 60% of sales. In 2023 the Holiday Marketplace was reintroduced as an opportunity for artisans to market their products. Although expenses exceeded revenues by $1,460, the artisans deemed it a success for them. Form 990, Part III, Line 2 For the first time since 2016, Holiday Marketplace, a two day event in which several of the artisans are all in one central place, was held in 2023. While the event in 2023 did suffer a small loss of $1,460, it did generate $21,606 in gross income, and the participating artisans were all pleased with their earnings.
