Four of these were adult women from Vietnam studying English in preparation for university programs in the U.S. One woman from Japan was preparing for a program in Rome, and one from India came to review her English for ministry here in Minnesota. Twenty three adults were local residents learning English as a second language or preparing for university studies.Youth: From September 1, 2022 - August 31, 2023, the Center served 49 K 12 students who attended a total of 1103 hours. Elementary students received instruction in reading, writing, and math. In the case of a recent job change, recent pay stubs are a better indication of 'take home' pay. The decision regarding assistance is made based on the federal poverty guidelines for school free and reduced lunch. Every effort is made to meet a student's need.
