Active Membersin the Organization must be a financially responsible person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of owning or operating poster advertising or painted display advertising plant(s) in the State of South Carolina, and maintain a certain level of billboard(s) as stated in the Organzation's By-Laws.Associate Members of the Organization may be elected by a majority vote of the Board of Directors or of the members in convention assembled, upon nomination and recommendation of at least two (2) active members. Associate Membership may be granted to any person, corporation, association or organization of good character in any way connected withor interested in the development of outdoor advertising (except an operator of an outdoor advertising plant). Associate Members shall be entitiled to all priviledges of active members, except they shall not have the right to vote or hold office.
