The Chamber adopted FASB ASC 740-10, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes. Accordingly, the Chamber assesses its income tax positions based on management's evaluations of the facts, circumstances, and available information. The Chamber did not record any cumulative effect adjustment upon adoption of this standard, nor did it accrue any tax or associated interest expense during the year. There are currently no open federal or state tax years under audit. For income tax purposes, the Chamber has unrelated business income from the sale of advertising from its website, directory and guides.
