We also provide clothing and service referrals for all other needs. For a lot of these families, they are unable to come to the pantry in person for health related reasons. Because of this, we have developed a Food Delivery Program for those who are physically unable to come to our location. 3903 0 3903 In order to provide the essential needs of clients, we must have a facility that brings safety, shelter and dignity to all of our clients. These are the costs of maintaining that facility. Neither of them are officers. they are not signers on any bank accounts. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Junction City Local Aids governing documents and financial statements are kept in the office in our building and are available to anyone who asks to view them. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24a - 24d Many times we receive food in large quantities and we need to break down those quantities to meet the greater need of our clients. Most of the supplies needed for this are plastic bags, gloves and storage for making these available. We consider this a functional expense. We do several fund raisers a year and there are some expenses to pulling those off. We do not use a professional service to do this for us so this is where we list these functional expenses for that. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e Volunteer appreciation expenses: $675.58. We could not do the work we do without volunteers so we see the cost of appreciation to them a functional expense. Assistance program Expenses: We provide prescription medicine co-pays, utility assistance, bus tokens and pet food to our clients. This totaled $3094.73. We have a company truck that is used for picking up food and bringing it to our warehouse a functional expense. The costs of having this truck was $4262.38.
