Canty CSH is a neighborhood after school program, targeting children from Pre-K to Middle School, provided Homework Assistance, Reading Remediation, Mathematics Remediation, One-On-One Instruction, Life Skills/Character Education Workshops, STEM Workshops, tours of college campuses, and educational field trips for children residing in this public housing neighborhood. One of the Canty CSH students graduated from a 4-year college in May 2022. Canty CSH Summer 2023 provided an opportunity for the Canty CSH to participate in an academically enriching summer program each day in June. In addition to the academics, the Canty CSH students enjoyed learning experiences through visits to Columbus State University TSYS School of Computer Science Robotics Workshop, Fort Valley State University Campus Tour, State Capitol Tour, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Historic Park Tour, Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center, and Zoo Atlanta.
