This equipping is being accomplished through assessing potential church planters, coaching church planters, and training church planters. 1 0 188123 0 0 Church Planting Leadership launched the Harvest Teams Initiative. An effort to accelerate evangelistic growth globally by training "Harvest Like Jesus" principles online and in-person, sending trainees on trips to put those principles into practice, and mobilizing regional Harvest Teams to share the gospel and gather faith beginners into discovery groups. a) In June and July, the initial planning and research began to develop a method for scaling up the principles CPL had been teaching for years. b) In August and September, a team of 3 volunteers was gathered in person and virtually to develop more detailed plans for the initiative. c) In October, a start-up grant was given to help launch the new initiative "Harvest Teams." d) In November and December, CPL engaged three contractors to help organize systems and plans, recruit other volunteers, help with fundraising efforts, and build a website. e) The first "Harvest Trip" occurred in December to support the efforts of a church plant in Reno, Nevada. 0 0 0 Church Planting Leadership was involved in the training of ministry leaders in the areas of Evangelistic Church Planting and Conversion Growth for existing churches in the USA and East Asia. Events and Training Programs: (1) Prepared for Church Planting and Conversion Growth consultations which CPL conducted during the year. (2) Consulted with various church planting leaders via phone, email, and face to face. (3) Training materials were developed for Leadership Events and for several churches. (4) On the leadership team for Compass Church in San Diego near SDSU and involved in speaking and training and encouraging young leaders and teaching Bible studies. (5) Did site visits to new churches and then consulted with the church planters afterwards. A complete package of information is given to our bookkeeper to prepare the Form 990, who used an online IRS approved website for Form 990 completion (Form990Online.org). The director assigned to review the tax return works with the bookkeeper during the entire tax return preparation process and dialogues all issues during the tax return preparation process. After the bookkeeper and assigned director agree that the retune is accurate and complete, the final draft of Form 990 is reviewed by the treasurer and president.
