The average grant amount was around $360 per recipient. 75 29425 Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 We publicly post notice of our grants process to our members several months in advance. A committee comprised of interested members and at least one board representative review and score the applications. We fund those in order based on available funds. During our event we have art support there to help artists and to confirm that the granted art was delivered. Some years we have requested a final report but we have been moving away from that extra overhead. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a 04. Voting. Each member shall be entitled to one (1) vote on all matters submitted to a vote by the members. Members shall have the right to self-nominate for a Board position and elect Board Directors. The Board may also submit proposals to a vote of the membership. When proposals or directors or officers are to be elected by members, the vote may be taken by mail or by secure electronic transmission. The name of each candidate and the substance of each proposal to be voted upon must be publicized to members no less than ten (10) days prior to distribution of the ballot. Written explanation of the proposal must also be set forth in a record accompanying the ballot. Members voting by mail or electronic transmission are present for all purposes of quorum, count of votes, and percentages of total voting power present. A quorum is present when more than 20% of eligible voting members have responded by electronic ballot within 5 days.
