The annual audit of Mountain Parks Foundation's December 31,2023 Financial Statements disclosed this error. The amendment will report Unrestricted Net Assets (including minor corrections to the dollar amounts) as Net Assets Without Donor Restrictions. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Describe the process used by the organization to review this Form 990: The process includes a presentation at a monthly Board Meeting, and individual reviews for those Board members who were absent from the Board Meeting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Does the organization have a written conflict of interest policy? Yes. Is the policy regularly and consistently monitored and compliance enforced? Yes. The Board reviews the Conflict of Interest policy annually and each member signs a written statement of understanding and compliance with the policy. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The process for determining compensation for the Executive Director includes a review by the Executive Committee, annual salary proposal by the Board President, and approval by the Board (this is documented in the minutes of the Board Meeting in which compensation is approved.) In fiscal year 2022, $555,638 was reported under Other Liabilities. In fiscal year 2023, Other Liabilities were included in Net Assets Without Donor Restrictions. We conducted a financial audit which was completed after the filing of our 2023 990. We have amended our 990 to reflect financial changes made in accordance with the audit findings.
