Scholarships were provided for tuition expenses and professional conferences, and emergency funds were provided to assist students with fees and costs to remain in school. There is an urgent need to educate more midwives of color, and these funds support students immediate needs. We also provided funds to 7 midwives committed to mentoring aspiring midwives to aid in the BIPOC midwifery shortage in the state. 43865 Payroll Expenses - Provided fees to CNMFs 3 employees: 2 Project Directors salary and an Operations and Communications Consultant/Administrative.
