We suggested peaceful practices to individuals through a regular electronic newsletter that reached over 500 people; by posting messages and calls for practical action on our social media channels reaching the public at large; by posting information sheets to our website, which reaches the public at large; and by offering virtual learning events available to the public at large. 72239 0 Peace Agents -- Peace Through Action USA continued its peace agents program, which supplies compensated servant leaders (peace agents) to U.S. communities seeking greater interpersonal peace. We serve as an intermediary--recruiting, screening, and matching people who wish to focus on peacebuilding to organizations that seek to increase peace between people and groups in their communities. Peace Through Action USA raises funds for and supervises our peace agents to lower barriers to human resources that community organizations face. Our peace agents lead community peace projects. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The chair reminds directors of the organization's conflict of interest policy and duty of directors to declare known conflicts of interest at the end of each calendar year, and as conflicts arise thereafter. Directors declare known conflicts of interest at the end of each calendar year by completing a director information collection renewal form. Directors with self-declared conflicts of interest and directors observing potential conflicts of interest by other directors notify the chair and secretary of such potential conflicts. The chair then schedules the board of directors to examine such potential conflicts at its next regular meeting, or at a special meeting if the circumstance requires a more prompt decision. The policy establishes to whom the policy applies and the steps the board of directors shall take in setting executive compensation. At present, the policy applies to the position of the chief executive officer. The board of directors last established the compensation range for the chief executive officer in 2017.
