Provides professional development support and opportunities to earn required credentialing educational units. Also promotes awareness and professionalism in South Carolina for Respiratory Therapists, sleep technologists, respiratory care students and high school allied health students. To benefit respiratory therapists and respiratory care students through education and networking. Scholarships and grants were awarded to student that applied and competed for the scholarships. The scholarship recognizes outstanding respiratory care students for both grades and submission of presentations for a pulmonary related topic. This year, $1200.00 were awarded to students seeking two year associate degrees.
