("AWM") realized a public support percentage of 17.78% for the five year period from 2016 through 2020. For several years, AWM's directors and officers had been taking steps to improve the diversity of the organization's donor base. These include (1) adding new board members, to give AWM new avenues and networks from which to add "first time" donors and (2) updating our website to include links on each page, allowing the public to provide funding for our various ministry focus areas. For the five year period from 2019 through 2023, these steps resulted in an increase in AWM's public support percentage to 28.20%, an increase of 58% over the earlier period noted. AWM, and it's officers and directors, remain committed to supporting local benevolence in the North Texas area, continuing to support its current U.S. and international ministry partners, and continuing to seek new ways to positively impact new ministry partners. All of these efforts are consistent with the scriptural Mission Statements upon which AWM was founded: "The Great Commission" found in Matthew 18:18-20 and "The Messengers" found in Romans 10:13-15.
