We initially printed our 990 and mailed it to the IRS, like in years past. The IRS returned our Form 990 by mail with an explanation that we needed to resubmit electronically. We received our returned 990 and the notice from the IRS on Wednesday, September 7th. It requested that we resubmit within 10 days of the date of this letter (August 29, 2022) to avoid penalties. We purchased software that would allow us to electronically file and had to reenter all of our information. We did this as expeditiously as possible and are now submitting.
