Through advocacy, collaboration, and awareness activities, ASHA helps educate the greater community and connects individuals and families with the resources needed to achieve self-reliance. ASHA's volunteers and staff are culturally competent counselors who assist clients with a variety of needs including: residency and immigration issues pertaining to child custody, spousal and child support, mental health counseling, transportation, interpretive services, connection to resources such as housing, medical care, and providing emergency funds.
